Marvin Levine P.E., FASCE
President

With an impressive slate of national and Chicago-land area projects, and more than 30 years of construction experience, Mr. Levine is a proven professional in his field. With a B.S. in Civil Engineering from Northeastern University (Boston, MA), professional engineering licenses(Illinois and California) and graduate business courses (Bernard Baruch College, NY and Golden Gate University, CA), Mr. Levine understands the technical principles and applies them effectively to practical issues. In his career, Mr. Levine has served in many capacities: surveyor, field engineer, estimator, project manager, general contractor and consultant. For each project he undertakes, Mr. Levine brings his technical expertise, ingenuity and practical, hands-on approach.

Melissa J. Barleben
Vice President

Ms. Barleben serves as the Levine Companies’ Vice President. Her primary responsibilities include: managing administrative operations, financial services, information services, human resources, marketing and assisting in the development of long-term goals and strategies for the organization. She holds a B.A. from the State University of New York at Geneseo and has completed graduate business courses at DePaul University. Ms. Barleben is one of the founding members of the firm and has been involved in construction management & administration of projects since the Levine Companies’ inception.

Nancy A. Levine
Secretary/Treasurer

Ms. Levine serves as the Secretary/Treasurer for Levine Companies. Her primary responsibilities include: overseeing Human Resources, accounting, insurance & financial management and the development of long-term goals & strategies for the organization. She holds a B.S. from the University of Michigan, and is a licensed real estate broker in the state of Illinois. She has over 20 years of real estate experience, including leasing and property management. Ms. Levine is a founding member of the firm and has been instrumental in the development of the Levine Companies.
